Graduating from University of London Banking and Finance in 2008, I went to USA where I worked as a lifeguard for 6 months. When I returned I was offered to work in a financial software company with a $4,800 basic, but deep down in my heart I knew this was not something I wanted.
I wanted to create a difference in people's lives, especially those less well-off. From then, I started my journey with PaceSetters Organisation, a group of agency units representing Prudential Assurance Company Singapore (Pte) Ltd and till date, I love my job and believe in seeing good in everyone.

Jean has been my Financial Consultant for the last 6 years. She was assigned to my account after my previous consultant left.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT & CONSITENTLY IMPROVING
Jean is one of my first few FCs that I recruited in my management career. She has never fail to amaze people around her since day 1 of her day. She gives a 100% to everything that she does. Nothing is too trivial or unworthy. If she says she will do, she delivers. Since day 1 till now, more than 10 years in the business, Jean has keep evolving, and developing herself to be a better person. Personal development is not just about gaining more knowledge or skillsets. It is about improving oneself consistently, further life values as we grow. Jean has definitely demonstrated that perfectly. Jean is also one of the most generous people that I have known. She treats everyone like her family. Things that cannot be bought using money, she gives time, effort, and friendship without expecting anything in return. I can say, to have the opportunity to know, and then get to work closely with Jean over 10 over years has been my blessing.
Chia You Keat (Senior Financial Services Director)

She is a driven and determined leader and agent whom I aspire to be. She is a mother too. Hence, she always makes a point to see things as a mother's point of view. She knows my priorities and give me space which I really appreciate. She appreciates me and sees my strength too. With her constant encouragement, I am motivated to be successful or somewhat successful like her. She is a great running partner too. Although we are running for different goals, whenever we are running together, she always checks me out to make sure I am on track. I cannot imagine if no one does that. She is a good listener and a good friend too! :)

DISPLAYED A STRONG LEVEL OF PERSONAL TOUCH
Jean has been a great boss for the past 1 year. She exposed me to a wide range of challenges that I never thought that I would encounter. From helping her with her personal travel insurance claims, to assisting her clients with their accidents and hospitalisation claims, organising events for both the team and clients, and even delivery cakes as a form of appreciation. Jean is someone with high level of empathy, and always want to be there for others, physically and mentally supporting them. Having personal touch with the clients helps her to build a stronger relationship with them. She also like meeting people, especially those seniors in the industry, to learn from them and to pass the knowledge to the team. She puts in a lot of effort in growing the team, helping each of them see their potentials and areas of improvement, so that each one of them can be successful like her.

A Friend and A Sister
I met Jean 9 years ago at the Suntec Convention Centre. Since the first meeting she has made me realize how important wealth accumulation is and how insurance plans are able to support us in different stages of our lives. She has became more than just a Financial Consultant but a friend and a sister who genuinely cares.

Everyone’s life is just as important!
Jean has been my family’s Financial Consultant for the past 3-4 years. Jean makes sure that we are well-covered and she is always approachable. Whenever we need to make claims, she always makes sure it’s handled efficiently. However what makes it truly endearing is her patience and willingness to answer my queries. She is also quick to respond with advice as well. In the past year, my mother (aged 64) was hospitalised thrice. I am so glad that Jean encouraged us to sign a hospitalisation plan for her. We wouldn’t have been able to cover the hospital bills otherwise.
On other occasions, Jean would provide financial review on all my family’s plans individually with us one-to-one. We appreciate that she goes out of her way for us. Even though she is now a manager, she still attends to small clients like us. Indeed in her eyes, everyone’s life is just as important. On a personal note, she sends me a birthday card every year with a sweet handwritten message. She also organised events for us like the movie screenings. Thank you, Jean!

Hard working, Helpful and Caring Lady
My wife and I have known Jean for about 8 or 9 years.
Jean is a very hard working, helpful and caring Financial Consultant. Now she is also a good friend to us.

Always on 24/7 standby for her clients~
I met Jean when I was working as a recruiter. Out of so many Financial Consultants that I met, her personality left a deep impression on me. She was always dragging around a big suitcase and had her hands full of documents. It made me feel that she was so professional and hardworking. Her personality was very sweet as well.
7 years later, I thought of her the moment I wanted to get insurance for my kids. She was still the same sweet lady I remembered 7 years ago.
She did not disappoint as I expected. She recommended my husband and I the most suitable products and she has always gone the extra mile for us. She always sends her blessings to me and my husband in the sweetest ways.
I remember receiving a get well soon hamper when I was so sick at the hospital and pregnant with my 2nd child and also another one when I delivered my child.
It’s such sweet gestures that you know she always has you in her mind. There’s too much that she’s done for us we can’t even state them all. She also always gets back to us really fast when we have any enquiries on claims or anything really.
Honestly, It’s seems that she is always on 24/7 standby for her clients. I’m so happy to see her so successful in her career now and she well deserved it.
Ng Hui Juan
Always there for me!
Jean was recommended by my sister-in-law. My husband, my sister-in-law and I were transferred from another Financial Consultant to her.
Jean is a responsible, honest, trustworthy and a very hardworking person. She always understand my needs and making the appropriate response within 10 minutes. She is very friendly and helpful even though some of my insurance were not purchased from her but she is still willing to assist me accordingly.

Good attitude and Patience
I met Jean in year 2012 from one of the Prudential road shows at Expo. I was impressed by her good attitude and patience. After comparing with other Financial Consultant, I decided to choose Jean as my family's Financial Consultant. Now I can say it is a wise choice over the past 6 years.
Wang Wei, Assistant Finance Manager
Understanding and Respectful
I got to know Jean from my younger brother, Gavin and his girlfriend, Amber. My brother told me that Jean is helpful and knowledgeable, he recommended her to me to review on my current portfolio.
My first impression of Jean was that she was friendly and willing to listen and share her experiences. She was also not a very pushy Financial Consultant and is willing to work the best within my budget and my needs. I remembered that I had to put one of the policy I agreed to purchase on hold the following day (which was a public holiday), after discussion with my husband. She immediately act on it even though it was a public holiday and did not question me further on my decision. I'm glad that she is understanding and respectful towards my decision.
Bernice Chia, Project Manager at Dell
Genuine care and Concern
I first met Jean when I was studying in Poly through the introduction of my friend, Wan Qi. It’s been a decade already since I have met her. She has been a very sweet lady even till now, understanding my needs when I was student and adjusting through the transition to adulthood. She was there through every journey, not just a Financial Consultant of mine but a friend who shows genuine care and concern towards my life. I also get to witness her journey in life, as she gets married and now blessed with beautiful Emma. It’s very heartwarming to be able to meet a person like Jean. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank her for rendering her help towards my needs especially when I had to undergo two surgeries, I did not have to think too much on the charges as her concerns were mainly about me whether I was okay and recovering well. Thank you, Jean!
Sheena Tan, Preschool Teacher
Wonderful, Kind and Loving Agent
Jean and I have known each other since 2010. My very first impression on her was that she was a very sincere and thoughtful person she is. She helped me to understand the importance of having insurance of our own. From time to time we became good friends. She will always listen to my thoughts and share her experiences in her life too. She is a wonderful, kind and loving person and I am happy and lucky to have her in my life. I wish she will have a happy and healthy life as this is the most important aspect in life.

Excellent Financial Consultant who goes above and beyond the call of duty
I met Jean during a JC school program in Perth where we bunked in together and got to be best friends.
Jean is an excellent Financial Consultant who goes above and beyond the call of duty. She is someone who does not care if you are a big or small customer, and will show you the same promptness and attention, including towards your family. It is easy to talk to her about your financial situations and she will recommend products according to your needs and not for her own personal gain.
Jiexin, Director at SnackFirst
